I have an 11 year old Son who has attended Foxwood Academy for the last four years. I have many years of experience in Business Management. I started out as a non-food manager, working for a major supermarket chain for 11 years. I then left this role and joined an estate agency as General Manager and completed all my qualifications to become a fully qualified Estate Agent. 

Once my son's additional needs started coming to light, I decided to put my career on hold so I could dedicate more time to him. I now work part time doing an admin role. I have taken a lot of time over the years, researching special educational needs. I have also been a parent mentor to parents who have struggled when going through diagnosis with their children. 

I feel my Business Management experience and my knowledge of special needs will bring many positive factors to the governing body. I also want to be able to give something back to this wonderful school, as it has been life changing for us! 

In my spare time, I like spending time with my son, going out for days out and going on holiday.
