Active Notts are working with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England to offer this training to anyone who wants to increase their awareness of Adults mental health.
This introductory 4 hour session raises awareness of adults mental health. It covers:
- Some of the common mental health issues affecting adults, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders and psychosis
- Skills to work more effectively with adults living with mental health issues
- Ways to support adults with a mental health issue and relate to their experiences
Everyone who completes the session gets:
- A certificate to say you are Adults Mental Health Aware
- A manual to keep and refer to whenever you need it
Cost: £25 per person (subsidised rate for people who live and/or work in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire)
